The Z Sofa was developed by Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen in 1957 as a natural extension of the iconic Z Chair. Like the chair, the sofa is defined by its sculptural Z-shaped silhouette, formed by the seamless transition between the V-shaped legs and armrests.

The clean, geometric lines are softened by the upholstered cushions, resulting in a harmonious balance between visual lightness and great seating comfort.

Designer Poul Thorsbjerg Jensen (1922-2006) was a Danish furniture designer and manufacturer. He spent most of his career at Christian Jensen's Møbelsnedkeri, the furniture company founded by his grandfather, Christian Jensen, which developed and produced furniture largely for export to the United States. His best-known design is the sculptural Z Chair from 1957, made at the family workshop.
