Tim Rundle’s TR series for Audo is based on the modern, nomadic lifestyle, moving between cities and countries in the pursuit of adventure. Simple in form yet sophisticated in expression, the TR Bulb Suspended Wall Lamp sees the itinerant TR Bulb in opal glass suspended from a brushed brass arm in a meeting of straight lines and round shapes. Emitting an even, glare-free glow, the dimmable LED bulb is controlled via a dial on the wall-mounted backplate. While fitted with a cord, the lamp can also be hardwired.
Designer
Tim Rundle Studio, based in London, specializes in industrial design, focusing on product design, interiors, and consultancy. Founded by Tim Rundle, the studio blends architectural principles with user-centric solutions to enhance the built environment through elegant and technically advanced designs. Inspired by Danish designers like Poul Kjærholm, Rundle creates refined furniture and lighting designs, utilizing advanced tools to prototype functional forms that seamlessly integrate into real-world spaces. His career includes significant roles at Formworks Design, PriestmanGoode, and Tom Dixon, before establishing his own studio in 2015. Today, he also shares his expertise through teaching at the Royal College of Art.
