The Tasca Stool is designed in a light weight and hand-finish that allows for the lines between indoor and outdoor, home and away, to be generously blurred. An endlessly adaptable piece in the series that can offer a timeless, straightforward design to any setting, and can even be used as a surface as well as a seat.

Notes
Lightweight and durable.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor seating. Placed outdoors it develops a graceful patina over time but will not rust or deteriorate.
Direct sunlight raises the surface temperature, but aluminum cools down quickly and does not trap heat.
Small scratches or markings are normal and inherent to the unfinished nature of this product.

Care
Wipe with a soft cloth wrung out in clean water, or a mild soap.
Avoid cleaners containing any type of chemicals.
Dry with a soft cloth after cleaning to prevent streaks and scratches.
Remove any traces of cleaner from edges and rivets.

Frama furniture is covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery.

The warranty does not cover natural variations inherent to the materials, changes in surface finish resulting from aging or light exposure, damage caused by assembly not carried out in accordance with Frama guidelines, improper use or maintenance, or burns, tears, stains, scratches, and other damage caused by misuse. Frama products are designed for indoor use unless stated otherwise.

Designer Pedro Sottomayor is an industrial designer in Lisbon. He is from Porto, studied industrial design in Italy, and opened his own design office in Lisbon in 2009, working on product development and art direction for brands. For Frama he designed the Tasca Series in 2022, a chair, stool and table in hand brushed, untreated aluminum. The name comes from the tasca, the small bar or tavern found across Portugal. Brand

Frama is a Copenhagen design studio creating furniture, lighting, and everyday objects guided by natural materials, simple geometries, and permanence. Founded by Niels Strøyer Christophersen, the studio works from St. Pauls Apotek, a preserved 1878 apothecary in central Copenhagen, and its collections span the modular Shelf Library, seating, lighting, and an apothecary line of soaps and scents. Each piece is designed to age with use and keep its character over time.
