Internationally renowned Danish architect and furniture designer Arne Vodder, a significant contributor to the golden age of Danish design in the 1950s and 1960s, created a line of sideboards which attracted great attention when they were originally presented in 1957. More than sixty years later, Arne Vodder’s family has been looking in the archives, together with Sibast Furniture, resulting in the reintroduction of the Arne Vodder Sideboard Sibast No 11 by the same original manufacturer.

The Sibast No 11 sideboard is made of solid wood with oak and walnut veneer. It has reversible doors with colored surfaces on one side and wood on the other. Available in yellow, white, blue and black. Wood and steel legs.

The Sibast Furniture collection is designed and manufactured to last for generations. It is made with the same attention to detail, craftsmanship and high quality as our ancestors. To ensure it ages gracefully and with the longest lifespan, it is important that it is properly maintained and cared for as recommended in our maintenance and care instructions.

All furniture included in the Sibast Furniture collection is made out of natural material such as wood, fabric and leather. This means that differences will occur in both finishes and material and that natural markings in the leather hides as well as natural variations in the surface of the wood and the color of the finishes must be appreciated and expected.

Arne Vodder began his career in the mid-1940s, training under cabinetmaker Niels Vodder at the School of Interior Design before graduating as an architect from Kunstakademiet in Copenhagen in 1947, mentored by Finn Juhl. He co-founded his design studio with Anton Borg in 1950, initially focusing on office decor before expanding to collaborate with renowned manufacturers like Sibast Furniture and Fritz Hansen throughout the 1950s and 60s, creating iconic pieces such as the award-winning Sideboard No. 29A.

Sibast Furniture's legacy spans over a century of dedicated craftsmanship and Danish furniture tradition, beginning in Stenstrup in 1908. Across four generations, the family has honed their passion for wood and commitment to exceptional design, producing a classic collection known for its integrity and artisanal excellence.
