Royal System Shelf
Shelves for the Royal System hang from the wall rail on brass or stainless steel hangers, and move up or down whenever the room changes.
Four kinds: two plain shelf depths, a magazine shelf with an angled front that holds covers face out, and a desk shelf deep enough to work at.
Poul Cadovius designed the system in 1948 as one of the world's first wall-mounted furniture systems. Shelves need a rail to hang from, sold separately.

Notes
Shelves hang on the Royal System rail and can be moved up or down at any time.
Each shelf holds up to 33 lbs and may deflect slightly over time.
Shelves on brass hangers deflect a little more than on steel, because brass is the softer metal.
The magazine shelf has an angled front to display covers. The desk shelf is deep enough to work at.
Not compatible with Royal System parts made before 1985.
Treatment
Oil or soap. Oak and walnut are also available in matt lacquer at the same price.
Care
Avoid direct sunlight and heat from radiators or other heat sources.
Maintain a consistent humidity of 30-60%.
Avoid placing hot or damp objects directly on the furniture.
