Rasmus Appel, who trained as an industrial designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, is from Bornholm, and is inspired by the boat-building and the beautiful oak dinghies which are known for their fine proportions, construction and joints. The result is the display case Boderne, a simple piece of furniture that will grace any home. It also provides practical storage space with several different options with regard to both functionality and positioning.
