Tearoom Chair, With Loose Cover

A timeless addition to a living space, the Tearoom Club Chair or Lounge Chair with Loose Cover is designed with comfort and longevity in mind. Its clean silhouette, rooted in geometric forms, is softened by gently curved lines that mimic the contours of the human body, offering mood-lifting comfort in every inch. The generous proportions are crafted in wood and foam, upholstered with a removable, washable loose cover in a cotton-wool blend that offers a modern take on traditional wool bouclé, durable yet soft to the touch and as practical as it is luxurious.

Designer Nick Ross, a Scottish-Swedish designer based in Stockholm, studied industrial design at Gray's School of Art, winning the Arts & Heritage prize in 2008 for his project Stray. After completing a Master's in interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack in 2013, he apprenticed under Matti Klenell before founding his eponymous studio in 2014. Specializing in spatial design that explores materials and light, Ross intertwines historical research with contemporary design, focusing on ancient history to interpret user relationships. His work delves into the role of storytelling and historical interpretation in shaping cultural perceptions and experiences, aiming to bridge past and present through thoughtful design interventions.
