Tree Table

To emphasize the concept of combining wild wood and minimalistic design, DK3 founder and designer Jacob Plejdrup chose to use whole solid wood planks with hand-sanded natural edges, and so a new classic plank table was born.

On top of the simple steel construction lie solid wooden planks shaped by nature and crafted by the industry's most skilled hands. Each Tree Table is individually numbered, and a discrete plate on the table edge testifies the originality of the table.

Notes
Table height 28.3"H or 29.1"H, confirmed when you order.
Every top is unique; the planks may crack slightly at the ends and twist a little, which is natural for whole planks.
Each extension leaf adds 19.7" to the length.

Designer Jacob Plejdrup began his career in furniture and interiors in 1991, and a life lived in Denmark, England, Germany and Switzerland has shaped how he designs. In 2009 he founded DK3 with his wife, Ann Plejdrup, and his dk3_3 table, one of Scandinavia's early plank tables, helped establish the brand. His passion for wood runs through all his work, which brings the beauty of nature indoors in a minimal way and highlights rather than hides the natural character of the tree, from the Tree Table to the Ten Table he created with Christian Troels.
