Tangent Table Round

The design idea for the Tangent Table Round began with Anne Boysen's wish to create a table, where everyone around the table can participate equally in the gathering. Other round tables with extension leaves can create too much distance, but the Tangent Table Round is made with closeness and socialization in mind.

The shape of the solid wood tabletop is based on six tangential arcs that melt smoothly together, creating a sculptural, asymmetrical entity. It features an elegantly curved edge that gives the piece a light, almost floating quality.
