Groove Coffee Table Oval

Like the Ten Table, the Groove Collection has been created on the basic principle of letting the natural beauty of the solid wood play a major role, highlighting the unique design details. The grooves on the table edge are made with a special custom-made milling head, invented and built by Christian Troels.

Despite its heaviness and imposing dimensions, the table still has a lightness and elegance, emphasized by the thin conical legs and the distinctive grooves. The table is delivered with predrilled holes for the legs in two different positions, enabling various visual expressions.

Designer Christian Troels holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Kolding School of Design and founded Christian Troels Product Design in 2013. His work spans electric vehicles, LEGO products, lighting and furniture, and he proves his ideas by building prototypes by hand rather than relying on the computer alone. He first approached DK3 in 2017, promising to increase the complexity of its designs. The grooves on his DK3 pieces are cut with a milling head made specially for them, a detail he first developed for the Ten Table in 2019. Brand
