AJ Garden Bollard Outdoor Lamp
This outdoor lamp emits a pleasant, fully shaded, downwardly directed, glare-free light. It is available in two different heights and has a fixed head. The inside of the shade is painted white to ensure a soft and pleasant reflection of light. The shape of the shade provides superior lighting, allowing an optimal view of its surroundings. The garden bollard can be fitted with three different installation types – namely a base plate, a spike, or an anchor.
The AJ lamp series, considered Arne Jacobsen’s masterpiece, was designed in 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel (Radisson Collection) in Copenhagen. Jacobsen meticulously crafted the hotel's interior, including furniture and utility items, with his signature straight lines and geometric profiles. The AJ Lamp, featuring copper and stainless steel, adorned hotel rooms, while the AJ Wall lamp graced the lobby in elegant rows. The AJ Garden bollard extends these design principles, echoing the AJ Mini Table Lamp’s dimensions and sophisticated expression, alongside the characteristic tilt angle of the AJ Floor lamp. Together with the AJ 50 Wall, these iconic designs allow Arne Jacobsen’s aesthetic to shine outdoors across various applications.
