This design is bench-made in North Carolina with a kiln-dried hardwood frame that’s carefully doweled and corner-blocked for lasting strength and stability. The controlled drying process removes moisture to help prevent cracking or warping over time.
Durable sinuous steel springs are engineered to maintain consistent support beneath the seat cushions.
High-resiliency foam wrapped in soft fiber padding provide a balance of firm support and inviting comfort, and will soften with time and use. The tight back and consistent arm height offer a refined look.
The reversible bench seat cushion attaches to the frame with sewn-in elastic straps and metal clips.
Minimal assembly required. Legs attach to the frame with the provided hardware.
Blu Dot offers a five-year limited warranty to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, covering defects in material or workmanship under normal use. During the warranty period, Blu Dot will repair or replace any covered product, part, or component at their discretion.
Blu Dot is an American furniture brand founded in 1997 by three college friends, two architects and a sculptor, who couldn't find modern design they actually liked at prices they could afford. Based in Minneapolis, every piece is conceived, designed, and refined entirely in-house, giving the brand rare end-to-end control over its work. That commitment traces back to their very first designs, sketched on butcher paper in a 300 square foot studio, a scrappy origin that still shapes the way they operate today. Blu Dot's work is known for marrying wit and practicality: functional, original, and quietly confident without taking itself too seriously. In 2018, the brand received the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in the Product Design category, cementing its place among the most respected names in contemporary furniture.
