VL Studio Table/Floor Lamp
The fixture emits a diffused, glare-free light. The triple-layered opal glass provides a comfortable light distribution and radiates a pleasantly delicate glow to its surroundings.
The VL Studio family originates from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset in Copenhagen in the 1940s. Named "Studio," these lamps indicated recording status with red or green lights. Lauritzen, the architect of Radiohuset, collaborated with Louis Poulsen to design a range of lamps including the Studio lamp, VL 38 Table lamp (VL38), Radiohus Pendant (VL45), and VL Ring Crown lamps.
Originally produced in the 1940s, these lamps were later discontinued but reintroduced by Louis Poulsen: VL45 in 2016, VL38 in 2016, VL Ring Crown in 2019, and VL Studio lamp in 2022. The VL Studio lamp and Radiohus Pendant feature opaline glass for diffused lighting.
Introduced in 2022, the VL Studio Table/Floor lamp reflects the original wall lamp's design with polished brass and mouth-blown opal glass. It comes in polished brass and matte-black versions in three sizes: 150 mm, 250 mm (ideal for tables), and 320 mm (suitable for both tables and floors). This lamp combines a modern aesthetic with warm ambiance for any interior.
