Designer

Danish architect, ceramicist, and jazz musician Max Brüel (1927-1995) was a versatile talent who won his first architecture competition while still in art school, achieved international fame as a jazz musician in the 1950s, and left his mark on architecture with projects like the futuristic Herlev Hospital and a poetic chapel in Glostrup, while also working in ceramics and design.
