Shelf Library Desk Section
Rail-mounted shelving systems spread through Scandinavian workshops in the 1930s and became a fixture of mid-century interiors. Kim Richardt's Shelf Library, designed for Frama, returns to that logic: solid oak shelves resting on wall-mounted rails, held by stainless steel brackets, in an infinitely modular system that adapts to any space.
The Desk Section adds a deep 40 cm surface to the system, making room for a writing desk, a record player, or a run of open display. Shelves lift on and off without tools, so the arrangement changes as the room does. Available in solid oiled oak or stainless steel.

Frama is a Copenhagen design studio creating furniture, lighting, and everyday objects guided by natural materials, simple geometries, and permanence. Founded by Niels Strøyer Christophersen, the studio works from St. Pauls Apotek, a preserved 1878 apothecary in central Copenhagen, and its collections span the modular Shelf Library, seating, lighting, and an apothecary line of soaps and scents. Each piece is designed to age with use and keep its character over time.
