Gus* Modern has been building modern furniture for over twenty years. Its line builds on mid-century modern traditions, with an emphasis on originality, functionality and simplicity and a focus on materials and craftsmanship.

Zoe Sofa and Bi-Sectional
The Zoe Upholstery Series is designed for relaxed, modern living, with generously scaled proportions that draw on 1970s Modernism. Flowing French seams trace the shape of every seat and back cushion, and the deep seat cushion wraps up and over the armrest.
The seat cushions are high resiliency medium density foam wrapped in synthetic-down fill made from recycled plastic water bottles, and the back cushions are filled with the same synthetic-down fill. The kiln-dried FSC®-Certified hardwood inner frame has No-Sag sinuous spring suspension and sits on inset circular oak legs.
The Zoe Sofa is 103.5" wide and 38" deep. The Zoe Bi-Sectional is a corner sectional, 116.3" by 116.3", with concealed connectors that join its components. Both come in four fabrics, shown here on the Zoe Sofa.
Jane 2 Loft Sofa
The Jane 2 Loft Sofa is a modern update to the classic Gus* Modern Jane Series, bringing its mid-century style to a more compact scale. It is 72" long.
The seat and back cushions are button tufted with piped edges, and both are reversible. They are high resilience polyurethane foam in a Dacron wrap, on a kiln-dried FSC®-Certified hardwood frame with No-Sag sinuous spring suspension.
The inset solid ash base comes in a Natural Ash or Classic Walnut finish. The sofa's four fabrics, Robarts Sauble, Caledon Sedona, Merino Mocha and Parliament Stone, match the Jane 2 Sofa and Jane 2 Lounge.
Humber Lounge Chair
The Humber Lounge Chair has a solid wood frame with curved armrests and visible joinery. Softly rounded edges run along the arms and back. The Regency Beet version has a natural walnut frame, and the Regency Nautica version has a natural ash frame.
The seat and back cushions are removable. The back cushion holds an integrated wood support for structure and stability, and the seat cushion attaches to the frame with a dowel and loop connection. Both are high resiliency medium density foam wrapped in synthetic-down fill made from 220 recycled plastic water bottles. The chair is 28"W x 31"D x 31"H.
Revell Extendable Dining Table
The Revell Extendable Dining Table has a solid oak or walnut top with a delicately bevelled edge and a water-based, water-resistant clear coat in a low-lustre finish. The steel frame and legs have a textured powder coat finish.
Two fold-out leaves are hidden underneath the top when not in use. The table extends in 20" increments, from 63" to 83" to 103" long. It seats up to 6 closed, up to 8 with one extension and up to 10 fully extended.
An integrated two-stage extension system runs in the steel frame, and wheels beneath the two legs on the extension side allow the table to be extended without lifting it. It comes in Royal Oak and Natural Walnut.
Conway Coffee Table and Agency Table
The Conway Coffee Table has a pull-out storage compartment with a recessed finger pull, sized for blankets, pillows, toys and remotes. An open cubby under a fluted glass inlay holds books, magazines and small items. The body is an engineered wood core faced with thick, real oak or walnut veneer, on low-profile solid wood legs with levelling feet. It is 44"W x 22"D x 14.5"H.
The Agency Table draws on post-modern and mid-century design. Its round tabletop is a composite material made with upcycled coffee grounds, lightweight and scratch resistant, on a natural travertine base joined by a powder-coated steel support. Each travertine base is unique in its veining, colour and surface pitting. The table is 15" in diameter and 21" high, for indoor use.
Branch in Walnut
Branch is Gus* Modern's modular shelving system, in shelving, storage and desk configurations. It is built from wood uprights, powder-coated steel brackets and shelves with a solid wood bullnose edge.
The new walnut version pairs solid walnut uprights and walnut shelves with black brackets. On the shelving, storage and desk units, the shelves adjust in height in 2.5" increments and hold up to 50 lbs each, up to 250 lbs per bay.
